Forest Railway in the Bieszczady was constructed before World War I. Nowadays – rebuilt – it has become the greatest tourist attraction of this region.

It is well-known as „Bieszczadzka Ciuchcia” (“The Bieszczady Steam-engine Train”.) There is a possibility to choose one of two routes: Majdan-Przysłup and Majdan-Balnica. The first one leads through Cisna – the most tourist place in the Bieszczady. During a ride the Bieszczady colourful flora can be observed: flowers, trees, meadows. The railway station is a romantic (cause historic) place, and cabins are very small. The railway has started to be intensively operated since its renovation after World War II.
