On 31.07.2017, in Rzeszów, a meeting of the Competition Committee of the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund (hereinafter referred to as PRFF) was held, consisting of: Marta Kraus, Aleksandra Gorzelak-Nieduży, Aneta Radaczyńska, Kamil Czyż, Tomasz Leyko. The operator of the PRFF is the Podkarpackie Film Commission, operating in the structure of the Regional House of Culture. As a result of the concluded competition, the Regional House of Culture will become a co-producer of selected productions. The budget of the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund for 2017 is PLN 600,000 gross.

The aim of the Competition is to support film productions related to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and/or Rzeszów. The films made are to contribute to the cultural, tourist and economic promotion of the region. The condition for receiving financial support is the connection of the production with the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and/or Rzeszów, among others: through the subject matter, creators (entrepreneurs and specialists from the audiovisual industry operating in the region), and above all through the venue of the film. At least 100% of the co-production contribution, financed by the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund, must be spent in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and/or Rzeszów.

As part of the recruitment to the PRFF, 16 applications were received for a total amount of co-financing of PLN 3,251,846.94 gross.

The Competition Committee decided on the Competition, decided on the amount and type of the co-production contribution, taking into account the available financial resources, assessments and recommendations of the Program Council's experts.

During the proceedings of the Competition Committee, the following Applicants were selected, who will be invited to negotiate co-production contracts:

In the event of non-signing of the Co-Production Agreement or resignation by the selected Applicants, the Competition Committee will convene a meeting at which it will decide on the allocation of funds.

The Podkarpackie Film Commission invites producers to participate in the competition to support film production. The Fund's funds come from grants from the budget of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The operator of the Fund will be the Podkarpackie Film Commission, operating in the structure of the Regional House of Culture in Rzeszów. As a result of the concluded competition, the Regional House of Culture will become a co-producer of selected productions.

The budget of the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund for 2018 is PLN 500,000 gross.

The aim of the Competition is to support film productions related to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The condition for receiving financial support is to link the production with the Podkarpackie Voivodeship through, among others: subject matter, creators (entrepreneurs and specialists from the audiovisual industry operating in the region), and above all through the place where the film was made. At least 100% of the equivalent of the co-production contribution, financed by the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund, must be spent in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

Applications for support of film production under the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund may be submitted by any entity conducting economic activity in the field of film production, which intends to carry out a film production related to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

The conditions of participation are set out in the Regulations of the competition for the support of film production under the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund.

The deadline for applications is May 11, 2018.

The deadline for submitting the application is the date of its receipt to the Regional House of Culture in Rzeszów in paper form.

Applications must be submitted in paper and electronic form.

Applications to the Fund, drawn up in Polish according to the current model, together with the applicable annexes, should be submitted to the secretariat of the Institution's headquarters, at Okrzei 7 st. in Rzeszów, until May 11, 2018. The application should be submitted in 1 copy (1 original of the Application together with the Attachments) for fiction films/series, animated films and documentaries.

In the event of non-receipt of funds from subsidies from the budget of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, the Institution reserves the right to suspend the competition procedure or cancel the competition.
