In 2017, the Podkarpackie Film Commission launched the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund.
Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund
The aim of the competition is to support film productions connected with the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Completed films and series are intended to contribute to the cultural, tourist, and economic promotion of the region. A condition for receiving financial support is that the production is linked to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship through, among others, its subject matter, creators (entrepreneurs and audiovisual professionals operating in the region), and above all through the location where the film is produced. At least 100% of the net equivalent of the co-production contribution financed from the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund must be spent within the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
Applications for financial support for film production under the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund may be submitted by any entity conducting business activity in the field of film production (for at least one year prior to the date of the call announcement) that intends to carry out a film production related to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
The detailed conditions for participation are specified in the Regulations of the competition for supporting film production within the Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund.
