The forest railway in the Bieszczady Mountains was established before World War I. Today, fully rebuilt, it has become the largest tourist attraction in the area.

Popularly known as the "Bieszczady Ciuchcia" (Puffing Billy/Little Train). Rides are available on the Majdan-Przysłup and Majdan-Balnica routes. The first route passes through Cisna, the most tourist-attractive town in the Bieszczady.

During the train ride, one can admire the colorful flora of the mountains: flowers, trees, and alpine meadows (połoniny). The train station is atmospheric and historic, and the carriages are very small. The railway has been extensively utilized since its reconstruction after World War II.
