Bieszczady National Park

Bieszczady National Park is the largest mountain national park in Poland and encompasses an area of exceptional scenic and natural value.

Established in 1973, the park's boundaries encompass the highest parts of the Polish Bieszczady Mountains, including the characteristic połoniny (alpine meadows) and vast forest complexes. The park's landscape is shaped by natural mountain forms, river valleys, and sweeping ridges, preserved largely without human intervention. This area provides a valuable outdoor backdrop, showcasing the primeval character of the Eastern Carpathians.
