The largest retention reservoir in Poland, featuring a characteristic landscape defined by the surrounding forest-clad mountains.
The area is a highly attractive destination for sailors, offering numerous marinas and moorings. The shoreline features both fully equipped beaches with modern infrastructure and wild, secluded ones that guarantee peace and quiet.
There are several islands on the lake, the largest of which—Energetyk Island—is accessible via a ferry crossing. Situated in the central part is the Small Island (Wyspa Mała / Zajęcza), which is uninhabited, entirely devoid of infrastructure, and highly appealing for these very reasons.
