Magura National Park protects the natural landscape of the Low Beskids and encompasses areas of a preserved, pristine character.
The park was established in 1995. 89.7% of its area lies within the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, while the remaining part is located in the Małopolskie Voivodeship. The park's landscape consists of gentle mountain ranges, stream valleys, and vast beech and fir forests typical of the Low Beskids. This area has preserved the spatial layout of former Lemko villages, serving as a clear example of a cultural and natural landscape.
