The Marysieńka Townhouse in Jarosław is a valuable 16th-century monument of burgher architecture, closely associated with Queen Marie Casimire Louise d’Arquien.

The building preserves unique structural elements, including the representative Great Chamber (Wielka Izba) and a characteristic covered courtyard gallery — a roofed inner courtyard illuminated by skylights.

In the second half of the 17th century, the townhouse became the property of the wife of King John III Sobieski. It is a classic example of Jarosław’s merchant architecture, designed to accommodate the large-scale trade of the town’s famous fairs.

Today, the building serves a social function as the headquarters of the city’s oldest association dedicated to local history enthusiasts.
