This above-ground railway shelter in the form of a tunnel is one of the most important German military facilities from the World War II era in the Podkarpackie region.

The facility is approximately 385 meters long, and the thickness of its massive reinforced concrete walls ranges from 2 to 3 meters. The structure is made of reinforced concrete and features a slightly arched cross-section and a rounded exterior surface, designed to hinder effective aerial bombing.

Seven communication openings lead into the shelter, connecting it to other elements of the complex. The facility is situated at the foot of a wooded hill and runs parallel to the riverbed, forming part of a complex of German WWII military facilities spread over an area of approximately 1000 × 500 meters. In 1941, a meeting between Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini took place in the shelter.
