The "Torfy" Nature Reserve protects a valuable fragment of a raised bog on the northern edge of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
Established in 1987, the reserve covers an area of approximately 12 hectares in the villages of Głowaczowa and Chotowa, in the Czarna municipality, within the Dębica Forest District. It protects raised bogs and bog woodlands with characteristic plant species, including the round-leaved sundew, as well as habitats and breeding grounds for wetland birds.
