90-year-old Mieczysław Skrzyszowski, blacksmith from a village under Jasło called Bączal Górny, for a few years has been collecting items with historical value. He finds them on scrapyards and fairs. So far he has gained hundreds of exhibits from various historical periods, mostly found on Podkarpacie. Mieczysław knows the origin and functions of each one of them. Behind his house he constructed buildings, in which he runs a museum. The main subject of the movie is transience, Mieczysław`s and his wife`s, as well as the vanishing of traditional crafts and items related to them.
