„Kilometres of breaths” is a documentary way of showing the challenge taken up by the relatives of Hania and Wojtek – children sick with cystic fibrosis. Through extremely difficult effort – a run through the route of The Great Bieszczady Loop (144 km), as well as The Small Bieszczady Loop (100 km), the people in the film want to popularize the knowledge of rare diseases and gain the money for treatment. The film crew accompanies them on every kilometre of the run, recording their effort, passed towns and villages, as well as the atmosphere of running at night, when on the empty roads of Bieszczady the only thing than can be heard are the sounds of their breaths… Additional opponent is the coronavirus – which not only complicates the organisation of the run, but also mostly endangers the life of the disabled children.
