Rzeszów`s “Janusze” 2. Family
The film is a continuation of the biography of Edward Janusz and his wife Leopoldyna, photographers from Rzeszów who documented life in the capital of the Podkarpacie region at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The film tells a documentary story about Rzeszów during World War I and after Poland regained independence, told through old photographs, animations, narrative threads based on the fate of the Janusz family, interviews, and music.
The photographs used in the film come from, among others, the private collections of the Janusz family descendants, the collection of collector Jacek Rudnicki, and the "Janusze" collection run by the Rzeszów Foundation in cooperation with the Rzeszów Voivodeship and Municipal Public Library.
