Podkarpackie Film Chronicle 2016 - Competition Announcement
Podkarpackie Film Commission, operating in the structure of the Regional House of Culture in Rzeszów, announces a competition to support film production entitled "Podkarpackie Film Chronicle”. The total pool of funds allocated for co-financing film projects is PLN 80,000. The funds for the competition come from the budget of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
The aim of the Competition is to capture events, places and people related to Podkarpacie in the form of films. The competition is used to document the history, present and cultural heritage of the region.
We are waiting for applications until August 5th, 2016.
We invite all filmmakers to participate in the competition!

The competition received 21 applications. One was withdrawn by the applicant at the stage of formal evaluation. Twenty were submitted for substantive evaluation. Eight applications received positive recommendations from the jury members. The vote selected 5 projects that will receive funding in the form of co-production contributions.

We would like to thank all applicants for participating in the competition.
In connection with the resignation of Telewizja Polska S.A. The Rzeszów branch from the competition, the remaining funds were transferred to two entities from the ranking list: Telewizja Obiektyw for the film "Mission ‘guesthouse’" and Panluka Studio for the film "Brother Bronisław from Dębowiec".
