Competition Results – Podkarpacka Film Chronicle 2025
On April 16, 2025, an online meeting of the Competition Committee of the Podkarpackie Film Chronicle was held in Rzeszów, consisting of: Mateusz Werner, Aleksandra Gorzelak-Nieduży, Marta Kraus and Jagoda Mazepa.
The budget of the competition for 2025 was PLN 100,000 gross from the budget of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Based on the regulations, the Competition Committee decided to increase the competition budget by PLN 15,000 from the own funds of the Provincial House of Culture in Rzeszów, allocated to support film production. As part of the call for the competition, 6 applications were received for a total amount of co-financing of PLN 166,700 gross. 6 applications were qualified for the substantive evaluation stage.
During the proceedings of the Competition Committee, the following Applicants were selected, who will be invited to negotiate co-production contracts:
The operator of the program is the Podkarpackie Film Commission, operating in the structure of the Regional House of Culture in Rzeszów. As a result of the concluded competition, the Regional House of Culture will become a co-producer of selected productions.

Podkarpackie Film Chronicle 2025 - Competition Announcement
The Podkarpackie Film Commission invites applications for the 10th edition of the competition supporting film production titled “Podkarpackie Film Chronicle 2025.”
The budget of the Podkarpackie Film Chronicle for 2025 amounts to PLN 100,000 gross. The funds come from the budget of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
The aim of the competition is to document events, places, and people connected with the Podkarpackie region through film productions. The program is intended to support the development of film production in the region and to document its history, present-day life, and cultural and natural heritage.
The films should serve as a record of the region’s cultural and social heritage; commemorate individuals (including historical figures, representatives of artistic and scientific communities, athletes, social activists, and others associated with the region) and social groups, highlighting their contribution to shaping the region’s image and everyday life. The productions should also present events, places, elements of heritage, traditions, and social initiatives that are important to the culture and history of the region.
The deadline for submitting applications is 28 February 2025.
Applications must be submitted to the secretariat of the institution at the following address:

with the note: “PODKARPACKA KRONIKA FILMOWA 2025.”
The submission date is considered to be the date the application is received by the institution. Applications must be submitted both in printed and electronic form.

The institution reserves the right to suspend the competition procedure or cancel the competition.
