On March 26, 2026, an online meeting of the Competition Committee of the Podkarpackie Film Chronicle was held in Rzeszów, consisting of: Edyta Mucha, Aleksandra Gorzelak-Nieduży, Marta Kraus, Jagoda Mazepa.

The budget of the competition for 2026 was PLN 100,000 gross from the budget of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Based on the regulations, the Competition Committee decided to increase the competition budget by PLN 40,000 from the own funds of the Provincial House of Culture in Rzeszów, allocated to support film production. As part of the call for the competition, 16 applications were received for a total amount of co-financing of PLN 164,000 gross. 11 applications were qualified for the substantive evaluation stage.

During the proceedings of the Competition Committee, the following Applicants were selected, who will be invited to negotiate co-production contracts:

The operator of the program is the Podkarpackie Film Commission, operating in the structure of the Regional House of Culture in Rzeszów. As a result of the concluded competition, the Regional House of Culture will become a co-producer of selected productions.

The Podkarpackie Film Commission invites you to participate in the 11th edition of the competition to support film production entitled "Podkarpacka Film Chronicle 2026".

The budget of the Podkarpackie Film Chronicle for 2026 is PLN 100,000 gross. The funds will come from the budget of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, provided that a grant agreement is signed.

The aim of the Competition is to capture events, places and people related to Podkarpacie in the form of films. The program is to promote the creation of conditions for the development of film productions in Podkarpacie and the documentation of the history, present, cultural and natural heritage of the region.

Films should be a record of the cultural and social heritage of the region; commemorate individuals (historical figures, representatives of creative and scientific circles, athletes, social workers and other people identified with the region) and social groups, their contribution to building the image of the region and everyday life; present events, places, elements of heritage, traditions, social initiatives that are important for the region's culture and history.

The deadline for accepting applications is February 27, 2026 at 15.00. Documents should be submitted only in electronic version in the form of an archive in .zip or .7z format using the server page www.kronika.kulturapodkarpacka.pl (password: Nabor2026_!).

The institution reserves the right to suspend the competition procedure or cancel the competition.
